Brief Introduction:


CT-4008-6V4A-CCDC-USB is based on BTS-4000 series and is specially designed to test power bank charge and discharge performance. It shares all the main features of BTS-4000, such as 0.05%FS accuracy, 10Hz data acquisition frequency, based on Ethernet communication etc. And it use the same software with other models.

Meanwhile, this model has its own feature to cover power bank test need. It have 3 USB port(1 standard USB port for charging, and 2 Micro USB ports for discharging), Voltage up to 6V, Current up to 4A.

Here are 2 example scripts for testing power banks


1.CV-constant voltage charge and CR-constant resistance discharge are the most commonly used work step for power bank. For the 2A Port discharge, please set up the resistance value as 2.5Ω, and for the 1A Port please set up the resistance value as 5Ω.

2.Don't set up protection in the BTS software, cause most power banks have protection board inside;

3. The cut-off current setting is necessary for battery CV charge, but for power bank, it is unnecessary, because of the protection board inside. In this case, please modify the value of CVCCHARGEMODE in BTS.INI File to 1.
Operation guide: Close the BTS application → go to the installation directory(normally C:Program Files (x86)NEWAREBTSClient7.5.5) → open the BTS.ini file. → Locate the following segment and modify the value from 0 to 1.
